How much time do I need to invest?
In an ideal world, you would invest a little time every day into the programme - as the kind of major shifts we’re making require very regular, tiny movements.
But if you can’t devote time daily to it, you can join the group in the learning journey each week and do the alone work - as and when you have the time - in bigger chunks.
The Fierce Emporium is no ordinary shopping experience. You will be one of the valued customers and you spent time in each of five departments in the Emporium to purchase your thinking and practical challenges throughout the programme. The challenges are hidden behind mirrors, mannequins, displays, pieces of art and all sorts of places. The drawings in the Fierce Emporium are hand-drawn by the talented Martyn Pentecost from Mpowr Publishing.
This makes the whole so much more engaging in a very different way to dull on-line training experiences. You are not going to forget the learning that takes place in The Fierce Emporium.
Why is it called The Fierce Emporium?
I’m very busy at work. What if I can’t finish it in 6 weeks?
No worries at all. All I ask is that overhauling your career is one of your top priorities. If it is, you’ll invest the time and see the benefits. Graduates from The Fierce Emporium have said they needed to get better at time-planning and reduce their commitment to Netflix/social media scrolling to make the time.
If it’s lower down your priorities list, you could find it frustrating seeing others making movements forward, having aha moments and figure out their new direction while you stay stuck because it’s not one of your priorities.
I’m not sure I’m in the right frame of mind...?
This is really important. When reviewing their career history, many of the graduates from The Fierce Emporium felt that they had to be very honest about their feelings about their career to date. This sometimes brought up negative feelings before they began to feel real optimism and hope that they could design their future work in a way that would fit and feel so much better.
Don’t worry you won’t be alone. In our group sessions, all the students have the opportunity to ask for help, compare notes with others and get help to move forward.
What kind of challenges are included?
We go through your career picking out certain roles and deeply considering why some worked worked and others didn’t. You’ll learn how to discover your Superpowers, what your kryptonite is and how to avoid it, how your values have influenced your success, what success looks like in your future and how to design satisfaction into your work consciously and deliberately. In lots of bite-sized chunks.
Do I have to attend the group sessions?
Nope. Nothing is compulsory - we’re not at school.
The group sessions are really valuable for most people. It’s very reassuring to know that others get stuck in the same place as we do. When someone is brave enough to ask a question, it’s usually a question that others have struggled with. You don’t need to reveal anything you don’t want to. The sessions are structured with both introverts and extroverts in mind. And they’re really good fun!
How long will I have access to the materials
For at least a year.
I’ll lead you through six weeks of transformational content which will focus on your biggest challenges around your relationship with your work in one of the departments of The Fierce Emporium.
At the end of the six weeks, you can then re-evaluate yourself move into a new department of the Emporium yourself where you will find another six weeks worth of content.
